Medical Oncologist from 1994, exclusively devoted to sarcoma care in the last 20 years. Founder Member of The Spanish Group for Research on Sarcomas (GEIS) in 1994 and currently vice-chairman of this group from 2019 (He was GEIS Chairman from 2010 to 2018). He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology in 2010 focusing on molecular prognostic biomarkers in GIST. Currently, he coordinates clinical sarcoma assistance with translational research, leading a basic research team in the lab in Fundacion Jimenez Diaz University Hospital.
