Dr. Quezado is a senior research physician at the Laboratory of Pathology NCI NIH. She is the deputy head of the surgical pathology section and also program director of the anatomic pathology residency program at the NIH. Dr. Quezado’s main research interest is in the areas of neuropathology. She is interested in utilizing molecular signatures to better classify tumors and therefore try improving targeted therapy. She utilizes methylation profiling of brain tumors to improve classification of tumors and potential discovery of new entities.
